The much anticipated Kolkata derby ended in a 1-0 victory for East Bengal over Mohun Bagan at the Salt Lake Stadium on Sunday evening. A sublime strike from Lalrindika Ralte in the 73rd minute was enough to separate the two teams.

National team coach Wim Koevermans was at the British School on Sunday to watch the DYL, and was present for the under-15 match between Youth Football International (YFI) and Baichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS). YFI won the match 5-2.
