Match Report – East Bengal 0-0 Churchill Brothers




East Bengal and Churchill Brothers played out a drab 0-0 draw at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata in their I-League encounter on Tuesday. East Bengal was unable to secure a much-needed win after the humiliating defeat by Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the semi-finals of the IFA Shield, which Churchill picked up yet another draw on the road this campaign. Rather than a game of chances, this was a game of defensive solidity, with the defense of both teams able to repel the mostly toothless attackers.

FA Cup Roundup – Arsenal, City Dish Out Revenge



Both Manchester City and Arsenal exacted revenge for damaging defeats to Chelsea and Liverpool in the league by getting the better of them in the FA Cup. The Gunners battled to a 2-1 win over the Merseyside club while Manuel Pellegrini’s men finally got the better of Chelsea after a comfortable 2-0 win at the Etihad.
