Complete Domestic Player Draft of ISL


The first draft of all the domestic players of the IMG-Reliance Indian Super League was concluded today. Each franchise of the league picked up 7 players in this first draft. A total of 8 teams will be participating in the tournament – FC Pune City, Kerala Blasters FC, Delhi Dynamos FC, North East United FC, Atletico de Kolkata, Mumbai City FC, Goa and Bengaluru. The Goa and Bengaluru teams are yet to decide on a team name.

Just days after winning the World Cup, Germany skipper Philipp Lahm has decided to retire from international football. The right-back has ensured that he will leave Die Mannschaft on a high, having twice come close to lifting the trophy in 2006 and 2010 before finally lifting it in Brazil this year.
