Real Brushes Aside Bayern, Ronaldo Breaks Another Record



Real Madrid visited Allianz Arena and effectively broke the moral of Bayern Munich, which was arguably till yesterday, the best club team in the world. Both Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as Real tasted victory for the first time on German soil with a staggering 4-0 victory. The game was especially sweet for Ronaldo, as he broke Lionel Messi’s record for most goals in a single Champions League season with a staggering 16 goal haul.

Gerrard slips; Liverpool crumbles



Liverpool were left shell-shocked as they lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday and saw their title hopes receive a major dent. A clinical Chelsea defended the feared Liverpudlian attack of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, which only a day earlier were named the preferred strikers in the PFA team of the season, and then attacked on the break to nip in and score two goals through Demba Ba and Willian.
